03/31/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
03/31/16 20:49 These 8 dogs were seized by police from an apt after their owner was evicted. They were left in the apt in crates. Police had given them dog food. They all were relaxed around each other. They would sniff each other and sometimes play with each other with loose, wiggly bodies. They were dirty on their undersides and rear ends, apparently soaked in urine. He had a loose, wiggly body, open mouth, and wagging tail while we pet him, scanned him (-), collared him, and positioned him for pictures. He jumped up and leaned against us.
04/10/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Aster was found in an empty apartment with 7 other dogs, all loose and wiggly with each other as well as with the people who found them…How is that? I wish I could say the same with all my pets…Aster is a small ebony flower, a tiny boy that almost fits the definition of a pocket Pitie. He is quite shy at first then more daring when he sees that his caretaker means well. Treats helping, he becomes more squirmy and tail wagging, happy to be in company, even sitting upon request and accepting caresses. Aster pulls a little on the leash and does his business on the way. He seems happy to see other dogs and enjoys himself in playgroup with his peers. A very tolerant playmate he is, making him quite suitable for a life with other pooches. He gave me the hint that he wanted to play ball but was still a little too shy to try…Aster is a speckle of a dog but a good little guy, friendly, sociable, playful with his friends and likely a great candidate for the title of “Wonderful Forever Best Friend”. Come and meet Aster at the Manhattan Care Center and give him the life he so deserves, your beloved pet.. to see video, copy and paste the following link into your browser: https://youtu.be/GypsfVn57yo
