Basic Information: Finder found dog being abused by a man that we told the authorities would be contacted ran off leaving the dog.

How is this dog around strangers? Dog approached finder and was friendly and outgoing and allowed handling.
How is this dog around children? unknown-finder has a daughter in the home but did not interact with the dog.

Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. Allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds.
Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, eyes are averted, and tail is in neutral position with a relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item.
Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive when touched. Approaches the Assessor when the game ends (may need coaxing to approach). Dog is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor.

Summary (1): When off leash with other dogs, Aslan was eager to greet and slightly rushed over but was gentle when sniffing the female. He can be pushy in his play solicits but responds well when corrected by handlers and the female dog. Aslan engaged in brief bouncy and running play and often offers playboys.
