02/22/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
02/22/17 11:47 Meet Ashwin! I’m in love! he’s a super handsome young male light brown/yellow brindle & white Bull Terrier/AMPBT mix who was found running around in a park by officers. Due to Ashwin barking at them they asked joggers to get a hold of Ashwin to put him into the officer’s carrier which the officers stated was done smoothly. Upon arrival to the BXAC they noticed Ashwin was a very excited, happy wiggly boy with the counselor then with one of the officers who became more comfortable with Ashwin. During intake Ashwin had a super loose, wiggly body and allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. Ashwin would get on his hind legs to hug and or give me kisses. He loves being pet and didn’t seem to mind being lifted into the kennel as he didn’t want to enter on his own. Ashwin was wagging his tail super hard against the kennel walls as I gave him his food and water.
02/24/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: It’s a pleasure akin to early Spring fever to watch Ashwin romping it up in playgroup with other dogs, so heart-lifting is his delight! He’s hilarious with big dogs and small dogs alike, magically marrying the characteristics of “goofball” and “chivalrous.” Actually, so contagious is Ashwin’s joy we have the feeling it doesn’t matter what season one spends with this lovable boy–it is going to be a nonstop smile-athon. He loves people as much as he loves dogs, happily slobbering his kisses and showering his affection. He appears house trained. He walks so sweetly on the leash. And he never, ever stops wagging his tail. Ashwin is a grin on a leash, bliss on all fours, happiness waiting for a home! Another volunteer writes: It’s clear that Sir Ashwin has a little Bull Terrier in his family tree, and we know that mixed breeds combine the best characteristics of all the breeds. His slightly long and rounded nose is a complete giveaway. So, besides being uniquely handsome in his light caramel well-cared-for coat, he seems to be housetrained, is good on leash, loves romping in playgroup with his peers, and when a small dog on a retractable leash ran up to him to say hello, he wagged his tail in a sweet greeting. Ashwin means “light”, and to say that Ashwin will light up your life with kisses, fun and the love of a lifetime is an understatement. Don’t pass up the chance to meet our boy today!
