SAFE 10/15/17

ARTHUR – 9083

Hello, my name is Arthur. My animal id is #9083. I am a male blonde dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks i am about 3 years old.

I came into the shelter as a stray on 07-Oct-2017.

Let’s get to know each other a bit more…

A volunteer writes: How can one resist that face? Who would not want to squeeze that big, spongy snout? And those gentle eyes with no eyelashes that try to avoid the light…they reach right to my heart. Arthur is a sweet soul, an easy going chap who is happy to meet with everyone (human or dog) who stops him. He is a smooth walker, absolutely does not mark his territory, leaves the birds alone and meets in a very civil way all his four-legged friends. Same in playgroups with his peers, Arthur is a social buddy. He likes to be leash free in the yard, chooses shaded areas that do not blind his eyes. He can sit on command, ignores the toys and balls (for now) and takes treats so politely from my hands, his lips and teeth caressing my fingers. He wags often his tail and appreciates very much petting. Arthur is a very good looking dog, a bit on the thin side and dressed in a patchy coat. A stop by the veterinary and most likely a proper diet and housing will bring shine and lush to his habit and wrap his muscles with some padding. Arthur is a very handsome lad with a very attractive and engaging face, a low key kind of guy who wants to make friends with everybody. My kind of dog….may be yours, too? Come and meet Arthur on our premises, here at the Manhattan Care Center and see for yourself what a great pooch he is, and forever best friend he will be.
