A volunteer writes: Arizona is such a striking beauty that it’s hard to believe she’s also got a great personality– I guess it’s true you can have both brains and beauty. 🙂 Arizona has very unique grey and white spotting that really stands out, plus two different-colored eyes that are just gorgeous. She’s also great on the leash and is very smart– she knew to sit down for me before I even told her to (although I suspect it might be because she smelled the treats in my pocket!). One of the advantages of adopting a middle-aged dog (Arizona is 5) is that they tend to already have basic training and to be pretty calm, and Arizona seems to be no exception. Best of all, Arizona loves to snuggle. When we took a break from our walk, she tried to climb into my lap and burrow in. She would be a great loving companion for someone. Please come and visit Arizona, right here in Brooklyn!
