01/14/2016 WEB MEMO
A Volunteer Wrote: Ariel is a soft snuggle bunny dressed up like a beautiful german shepherd mix. While she is extremely elegant looking, her constant smile and wagging tail give her a contagiously joyful air–one cannot be with her enough or get close enough to her, which is just fine with this kissy girl. Ariel is a dream on a leash, appears house trained, was lovely with the other dogs she was hanging around with, and is a lap dog extraordinaire. The gentle Ariel is an all-around pleasure and we are aching to take her home with us. But if you insist….(please insist! You will be so thrilled!)
01/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Ariel walks calmly on leash. She was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, low wag. Ariel was calm and relaxed during handling. Ariel was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. She was easy to handle when chewing on toys Ariel did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful but unresponsive when touched.
