Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds.
Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture, mouth open

Summary: Apple displayed no behavior concerns during his handling assessment. Flank was used for Squeeze item due to skin concerns on Apple’s paws.

ENERGY LEVEL:
We have no history on Apple so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment. In the care center, Apple is a calm, social dog with a low to medium level of energy.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Average (suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience)
ENRICHMENT NOTES
Apple will often bark at people passing by, once the attention is on him he does stop barking. Outside in the yard he is very friendly and soft. He often solicits petting, allows all handling and walks nicely on leash. He is easy going in and out of his kennel and takes treats gently. Apples loves toys that squeak and will jump up for them.
GROUP BEHAVIOR
Apple continues to display the same behaviors. In the yard he often settles with a toy and keeps himself occupied with it. He allows all handling, body is soft and often solicits petting. Apple is easy in and out of the kennel. Apple is a very sweet and affectionate boy.
When off leash with a social female, Apple was polite and polite when greeting. They engaged in gentle / dainty play. Apple was slow to respond to handler corrections for mounting.
9/28: Apple continues to be tolerant and sexually motivated when off leash with female dogs. He played a little bit but mostly focused on mounting.
