01/09/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: A face like Gizmo the gremlin (right down to the ears!), the body of a meatball, and a heart of gold? That’s Apollo! He can seem a little anxious sometimes in this strange new place (and, like all of the cutest dogs, is camera shy!), but still manages to be COMPLETELY charming, sweet and endearing. He seems housebroken, walks very nicely on leash, and that smile of his could light up a coal mine! He lights up at the sight and sound of a squeaky toy, bats at balls with his paws, and throws his whole body around with a stuffy in his mouth. He’s very engaging and has a variety of super sweet cuddly moves: he does an adorable limbo when I scratch the itchy spots on his back, nuzzles his head into my legs, drapes himself across my lap, and frequently flops over on his side for belly rubs (albeit a little awkwardly…I think belly-up-Apollo is reserved for a home setting!). He is really a delight and meant to be someone’s best friend…come see him at Brooklyn ACC!
