KNOWN HISTORY: N/A Unaltered Male, Stray SAFER ASSESSMENT: 10/18/16 Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is waggingwith relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1/2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy 1: No interest. Summary: Apollo displayed no concern during his behavior assessment. PLAYGROUP: Apollo was brought in as a stray so his past behavior is unknown. When off leash at the Care Center, Apollo greets the helper dog with a loose, wiggly body. He is slightly sexually motivated and does attempt to mount but immediately responds to interruptions.
