A volunteer writes:
Her ears are a frilled awning shielding her pretty triangular face from the sun. Her lovely and shiny pure chocolate dress wraps a much too thin body. She has already been a mother as most of our females did. Anna is her name, a young Labbish gal found as a stray. Anna is a very friendly dog who welcomes everybody around with a waggy tail and a wiggly butt. She clearly expects only good things from us like very much needed treats for example . She can sit for them, will search my goodies bag but will take them quite delicately from my hand. She pulls a little on the leash, does her business on the way and meets properly other pooches. Leash free, she chooses to stay around me as she identified me as a suitable caretaker, sits by my side and accepts caresses. I can see her easily settling nicely with a loving family and be a happy and loyal best friend. Anna seems quite healthy but she needs a bit of TLC, good nutrition and the care of master. Will you be her safe haven, her forever new master? Anna is at the Manhattan Care Center.
