A volunteer writes: It didn’t take long after meeting Angie to realize I had someone very special at my side. She can be a little shy and timid, but not at all in a fleeing way. Rather, it is in a way that she constantly seeks out comfort from the people around her. She is the BEST hugger; she ever-so-gently props her paws up and could stay there forever (or if there’s more than one person nearby she’ll go back and forth — everyone gets a turn!). She seems very submissive and mild mannered. She stays right at my side on leash walks (though she might need a little coaxing if there’s a lot of commotion), appears housebroken, and loves treats (but might not know commands). She’s been very wiggly when we’ve encountered dogs on the other side of a fence, but I’m told in playgroup she is more bashful without the safety of a barrier. She makes the softest eye contact and embodies a vulnerability that makes it impossible not to feel a strong connection with her — she is SUCH a sweetheart!! Come get your hug today from Angie at Brooklyn ACC!
