9/25/16 S: Active in cage, whines or barks when left alone. Allows some handling but yelps, barks and tries to bite when LHL is touched. O: BAR-H, BCS 4.5/9, MMs pink EENT: Crusty discharge in fur in front of eyes, matted face. Severe dental tartar, gingivitis and gingival recession. Clean AU, nose. H/L: NSR, NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Tense M/S/I: Non-weight-bearing lame on LHL, pt does not allow palpation. Thick mats encircling both hind legs – on left, the hock is visible, swollen and erythematous. Mats elsewhere on body as well. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical.
