A volunteer writes: Joining us with his slightly older bestie Obie Wan, Anakin has a sweet lively energy for an older guy, even giving chase to a flock of small birds coming into our pen. Way to go Anakin! He prances around the pen, checking in on his older friend Obie Wan, snuggling close with him into my legs and sitting next to him to take a rest. Happy sitting on a lap and cuddling close to a person, Anakin nudges my hand to keep petting him, takes a treat softly and potties outside. He has a soft mass hanging from his belly but don’t tell him that as nothing seems to get him down. Like his friend Obie Wan, he’s a total delight, soft, gentle social….a gem. Both Anakin and Obie Wan are looking for a home together where their medical needs will be met, and their need for the love of a person, and their love for each other can continue. They check up on each other and it’s a magnificent friendship to witness. This dynamic duo needs you now
