A volunteer writes:
Silver loves people, may be more than she loves dogs unless they are well behaved and playful. She is a beautiful young gal, a lioness with clear eyes and a red golden dress, healthy, well groomed and the perfect weight. Silver is so ready to be leashed and …go.. She pulls a little, does her business at once and insists in meeting in person every human or pooch we encounter on the street. She even enjoyed the presence in a nearby pen of a friendly Billy Goat. I had to discourage her as not everybody likes to be approached suddenly by a big dog. Free in a pen, she explores, comes when called, hops on the bench and onto my lap, gives kisses and appreciates very much caresses. She sits very nicely on command as well as for treats and is in general, a good listener. She is not bothered by the eye of my camera. Silver has been well cared for. She was most likely taught how to play and enjoys a little chase and a ball game. Of note is that she does not guard the toy we are playing with. In a nutshell, Silver is a friendly, playful and affectionate young gal, lively without being hyper and who will make a very nice and loving companion. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center and take her home
