I am an unaltered female, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix.

The shelter staff think I am about 1 year old.

I weigh 46 pounds.

I was found in NY 10455.

I have been at the shelter since May 03, 2016.

A volunteer writes:
Young Amanda will offer you the best of both world in addition to be a very pretty flower.  She is indeed one outgoing little gal, confident and playful who loves to play ball or  tag , leash free in the yard. She is a tinsy winsy mouthy but changes her mind when she is gently and firmly scolded. She is also an experienced lap dog and a wonderful snuggler and kisser. Amanda is so adorable  in her well groomed tuxedo, perched firmly on white boots and looking at me with very bright and determined eyes…Time to have fun, go for a walk, eat a bite and have a sweet time together. Amanda is so ready when someone shows up at her door. She pulls a little on the leash and does her business quickly after reaching the street.. She is excited to see other dogs and clearly would love to play with them, which she does in playgroups with her peers..She likes to tease me refusing to give me back her ball and even trying to get a second one out of my hands.  A little tomboy she is…Amanda is waiting to start her life with you. She is still all young and new, ready to absorb all what you want to teach her and be your beloved forever best friend.Amanda is at the manhattan Care Center, waiting for you…
