01/29/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Alfa came to us as a stray, so we do not have any behavioral information other than what has been observed while at the shelter. Alfa may be deaf and blind, and is geriatric, but has allowed all handling from medical. When interacting with Alfa he has soft body language and allows all handling. Due to his medical condition Alfa is not an appropriate candidate for a SAFER at this time. He did allow the handler to pet him softly with loose body language and pick him up without issue. Because of our inability to SAFER Alfa at this time the behavior department recommends placement with a New Partner at this time.
