09/14/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/14/17 20:12 During intake: Akamaru had a loose body and waggy tail. He crouched down on the floor and crawled towards the admission counselor’s foot. He attempted multiple times to grab the admissions counselor’s foot with his front paws. He whimpered and attempted to bite the rope. He allowed the admissions counselor collar him.

09/16/2017 WEB MEMO

A volunteer writes: Sweet Akamaru’s life motto must be “hakuna matata” because this little black and white cookie hasn’t a care in the world. Walk? Yes! Snack? Definitely! Play? Don’t have to ask him twice. Akamaru greets every activity, task, and question with a smile, wiggle, and wag. Akamaru is very young and can be adorably timid when it comes to stairs and busy hallways so would do best with a calm and patient owner ready to show him the ways of the world. He can also be overly exuberant and jumpy when excited so lots of activity would suit him best and – again – patience, patience, patience! So get ready for no worries for the rest of your days, a problem-free philosophy that ain’t no passing craze, and life with Akamaru who’ll never cease to amaze. Akamaru is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC.
