Medical Summary Microchip: negative Sex: intact female (did not see a tattoo or scar but could not inspect closely due to nervousness) Age: appx 1y Mentation: BARH Eyes: clear Ears: clean Nose: no d/c, no issue breathing, does not seem involved with gsw Teeth: no staining seen, minimal exam, side with gsw does not seem to have any fractures to mand/max or teeth (no swelling at time of exam, no drooling) If abnormal BCS: WNL Skin: WNL Hair Coat: WNL Declawed: N/A Any injuries: gsw to right side of muzzle, appears to have grazed upper labial area caudal to nostril area (3-4in laceration), clots forming, dog was hesitant to allow cleaning with novalsan but did flush down with LRS, will need sutures (NPO’d for morning DVM) Behavior: painful and nervous but without aggression, jumpy but does calm easily Medication: oncall DVM rec buprenorphine (1.6ml SQ), rimadyl (62.5mg or 2.5x25mg pills), clavamox (375mg pill)–if not eating PPG 0.5ml/10lb SQ/IM
