08/02/16 17:14 BASIC INFORMATION: Adivisi is a 5 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix. Adivisi was surrendered due to his hyper activity. Adivisi has never had any health issues or injuires. Adivis hasn’t been to the vet recently. SOCIALIZATION: According to the previous owners, Adivis is very hyper and energetic. Advisi has not interacted with any dogs or cats so his behavior with them is unknown. Adivis has spent limited time around children. Adivis will approach a child with a soft body to start a playful relationship. Around strangers Adivis is slightly nervous but alert. BEHAVIOR: Adivis has never bitten anyone or animal. He usually follows the owner around the home. Advisi allows his food bowl to be touched or taken away by the previous owner. Adivis also isn’t bother by being retained or held for too long. He does get a bit nervous during fireworks however, most of the time she’s fine. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Adivis wopuld be great in a home with a lot of children and people to play with him regularly. He is weewee pad trained and gets walked about twice a day. Adivis is usually left alone in the home for about 8 hours and he tends to chew on the walls and furniture. Adivis usually eats hard foods three times a day. He does like to bark at the window at night. UPON INTAKE: Adivis was very hyper upon intake. He allowed all handling.

08/05/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Adivisi lived previously with adults. He is noted to be highly energetic. He has had limited interactions with children but approaches them with a soft body. He is nervous with strangers and has not interacted previously with dogs or cats. He has been high-energy, social, and easy to handle since intake. In the behavior room Adivisi was interactive with the assessor, readily approaching and allowing all handling without issue. He began whining at a few points but was easily distracted. He jumped on the assessor a few times between items, all attention-seeking, but was fairly calm in the room. We did not see any behavior concerns on the SAFER aggression assessment. Adivisi’s behavior appears appropriate for an adopter with an average amount of experience. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed or back. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. No interest. Dog-dog: 8/3: When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Adivisi greets the other dog displaying soft body language. He is anxious as he paces around the perimeter of the pen, mostly keeping to himself.
08/03/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION

**Social Greeter Dog** According to Adivisi’s previous owner, Advisi has not interacted with any dogs. When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Adivisi is initially anxious but has become more relaxed with further playgroup sessions. He displays soft body language throughout the interactions and is utilized as a greeter dog. 8/3: Adivisi greets the other dog displaying soft body language. He is anxious as he paces around the perimeter of the pen, mostly keeping to himself. 8/6: Adivisi greets the female dog appropriately but mostly keeps to himself as he explores the pen. He displays soft body language throughout the interaction. 8/8: Adivisi was used as a social greeter dog today. He was extremely tolerant of an assertive female who mounted him on his flank side, then froze. Adivisi did not react and after they were interrupted he avoided further contact with her. He also engaged politely with a timid puppy, giving him space and also playing gently depending on how the puppy reacted. 8/9: Adivisi displayed the same social and tolerant behavior towards female dogs. He is slightly sexually motivated but is able to listen to handler interruptions.
