A volunteer writes:
Pssst, wanna know a secret? My name isn’t really Ace…it’s A.C.E. Know what that stands for? Always. Celebrate. Everything! I love spending time with people, I love spending time with dogs, I love treats and I love fetch and snuggles and chewing on balls and laying out and sniffing the yard and exploring the park and…basically, I am in LOVE with the whole wide world! So as you can imagine, being stuck in my kennel is just about the worst thing ever. I get lonely and bored without my person (they tell me he went to a place called ‘Hospital’) and if you come to visit me I will be soooo excited to see you that I might just get up on the door and tell you all about it! Everyone says I’m kind of a goofball and I’ll admit I’m not the most elegant guy around, sorta chunky with an over-sized smile and a soft ‘n’silly heart. No matter if a dog is big or small, wagging their tail or growling at me, I’m probably gonna go right ahead and bumble on over to say hello because offering my unconditional love is the only way I know how to be. I walk pretty well in harness, do all my business outside, know how to sit on command for a treat (or a ball) and I’m always up for a nice full-body massage too…mmmhmmm, that’s what I’m talkin’ about! I’m the kind of dog who gets along with absolutely everyone but being pretty big and energetic, my perfect home would be one where I’ll get lots of exercise and lots of attention too. If you’ve got places to be and people to see then me and my A.C.E philosophy would love to come along for the ride!
