07/08/16 18:36 Tuti does not due well with strangers, adult or children, he will growl or bite. He lived with another small dog that he got along with but does not interact with any other animals. Tuti is walked twice a day and has a weepad at home for him to relieve himself on. Tuti is not bothered by loud noises. He doesn’t mind if his owner touches or takes his food, toys or treats. He handles being groomed well. He is active at home and likes to play with plush toys. he does not destroy ousehold items when owners are not home. Tuti does not know any commands. He is fed blue bufalo wet food twice a day. He doesn’t pull too hard when on the leash. Tuti entered the shelter calm and observant. He allowed councilor to scan him but froze and watched closely and due to owner information about Tuti not being friendly, they placed color on Tuti. Tuti is from a spanish speaking household.

Tuti came into our center as an owner surrender citing landlord issues. Owners report Tuti will growl and try to bite strangers, including both adults and children. She is reportedly not bothered if anyone touches her Food, Toys, or Treats. Tuti was nervous, fearful, and wide eyed upon entering SAFER assessment room. She would not approach, stiff and slightly crinkled muzzle when attempting to touch. Therefore, all tactile portions of the assessment were skipped. Tuti showed minimal interest in Toy, reacting to the squeak sound but never fully engaging. Owner reports she likes to play with plush toys. When off leash with other dogs, Tuti cowers away when approached. Tuti must be placed with a New Hope partner. Toy: 1. Minimal interest in Toy, dog reacts to squeak, then turns away. Dog-dog: When off leash with other dogs, Tuti cowers away when approached.
