Allows exam, wags tail, timid P = 80 R = wnl BCS 3/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: moderate dental tartar PLN: smln enlarged H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: faint spay scar seen–very small nipples MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: thin, dairrhea Plan panacur x 5 days, gave first dose Prognosis: good

Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands.
Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed.
Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft.
Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw.

Toy: 1. Minimal interest, dog sniffs toy.
Summary: Trixie displayed no concerning behaviors on her assessment.
DOG-DOG INTERACTION ASSESSMENT:
6/21: When introduced off leash to the male greeter dog, Trixie is soft and polite when greeting.
Upon intake, Trixie allowed all handling.
During her initial medical exam, Trixie allowed handling.
We have no history on Trixie so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. In the care center, she displays a medium level of activity.
