12/07/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Tallulah!! Just thinking about this little lady makes my heart swell. She needs a little dermatological TLC, but that doesn’t stop her from being as cute as can be: she is petite with big round doe eyes and a little mushy mouth. She was a little timid when we first met, but within minutes was trying to make her way into my lap. She has opened up to be snuggly and playful and is such a good girl! She seems housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and already knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw.” She likes to play fetch, licks my hands when I pet her, and even rolls over for belly rubs. She could work on her treat manners (I think she’d eat my whole bag if the opportunity presented itself!), but has been very gentle with me in every other way. She is one of those dogs that wiggles her back end every time you talk to her, and won’t accept that it would be physically impossible to get any closer to her person. Maybe that could be you!! Please come meet this incredibly endearing sweetheart at Brooklyn ACC.

ENERGY LEVEL: IN-SHELTER OBSERVATIONS: Though observed to be human-social, Tallulah may need time to warm up to the handler as she initially presents as a fearful dog, avoiding contact, shying away from direct touch.
