ROSITA ROSSI -19184
Safe - 2-1-2018 Manhattan Rescue: Pit of Our Souls Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://pitofoursoulsrescue.com/
Hello, my name is Rosita Rossi. My animal id is #19184. I am a female tan dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 7 years old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 26-Jan-2018.
Rosita Rossi is at risk for medical reasons, having been diagnosed with Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, which is contagious to other dogs. Behaviorally, we suggest that Rosita Rossi would be best suited to a dog experienced home.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes:I like for Rosita to have the name of a rose as she really is a beautiful and sweet flower. It took me a little while to discover her but when I did, I was really enchanted and not thrilled to put her back in her kennel. Rosita Rossi was quite shy at the beginning of our encounter. She did all what was requested from her, come, sit, hop on the bench, walk nicely on the street, do her business but “the mood” was not there. Then, all of a sudden, Rosita planted her forelegs on my lap, let me hug her gently and gave me kisses. She was all sweetness, came to sit on the bench next to me or layed down on the ground across my legs and ate treats from my hands. The ice was broken between us, just like that. What a nice dog Rosita is, the kind who will give it all to you, be your loyal and loving friend, for ever, the four legged companion you always dreamed to have by your side. To have your wish come “true”(as well as Rosita’s) , just come to the Manhattan Care Center, ask to meet Rosita…and fall in love.
My medical notes are…
Weight: 47.25 lbs
Details on my behavior are…
Behavior Condition: 2. Blue
