PEPPERMINT – 13111
Safe - 12-4-2017 Brooklyn Rescue: Amsterdog Animal Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://amsterdog.org/donate/
Hello, my name is Peppermint. My animal id is #13111. I am a female gray dog at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years 1 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 19-Nov-2017.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: If dogs were assigned a “sweetness density”, Peppermint’s would be off the chart: she is itty bitty and so, soo sweet!! She is the slightest bit bashful, but still very friendly and quickly warms up to solicit affection. She has been an angel to walk on leash and seems housebroken. She might not know much yet in the way of commands (or maybe we just aren’t speaking the same language!), but she is more than happy to accept treats for just being her. She has perfected her begging technique (she’ll rest her head on my lap and cue the puppy dog eyes) and takes them super gently…and really seems gentle in every other way too. She’ll hang out in my lap, wags her tail when spoken to, and always makes the softest eye contact. She is going to make someone super happy…please come meet her at Brooklyn ACC!
My medical notes are…
Weight: 41.6 lbs
Details on my behavior are…
Behavior Condition: 1. Green
