**POSSIBLE BACK INJURY**
Hello, my name is Milo. My animal id is #11756. I am a desexed male tan dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years 1 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 04-Nov-2017.
Milo is at risk due to medical concerns. Milo is suffering from back pain and has become despondent in the shelter and is not eating well. In the shelter Milo has been disinterested in other dogs and has been easy to handle. Milo needs a placement in an adult only home.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: Milo? You mean the big, hunky, gorgeous guy? Yes! That Milo! And so, a reputation is born. And then I was told by staff that when the vet sat at the edge of his kennel to examine him, big, usually aloof, hunky Milo flipped over for a belly rub and it “was the cutest thing ever”. I bet! Milo is always quiet in his kennel, and often needs some coaxing to come out for a walk. But, he knows when he needs to go potty, so at that point, he’s happy to see a human with a leash. Business taken care of outside, he’s always specific as to what direction he’d like to take on a walk; love a dog with a sense of direction. When staff he knows comes out, Milo’s butt goes into full wiggle mode, he gives lots of kisses, even standing up to get a better angle. The most animated I’ve ever seen him! And then heading back in, we bump into the vet who gave him the belly rub, and it’s more wiggles, more kisses and more tail wags. Milo clearly has his favorites, and if you are blessed to be one of them, the sky’s the limit in kisses and wiggles. Come meet Milo today and see what your ‘favorite meter’ reads. You could be one of the lucky ones!
