BCS 5/9; PROPTOSED EYE OD, BUPHTHALMIA AND CORNEAL SCARRING OS, BLIND OU; NO OCULAR OR NASAL DISCHARGE, EARS WNL; NORMAL SINUS ARRYTHMIA, LUNGS AUSCULT CLEAR; NORMAL ABDOMINAL PALPATION; UNKEMPT HAIR COAT; AMBULATORY X 4; NEUTERED; A: BLIND, PROPTOSED EYE OD, BUPHTHALMIA OS — RULE OUT SEQUELA TO GLAUCOMA VS OTHER CHRONIC EYE DISEASE; P: CONTINUE WITH CURRENT TREATMENT AND MONITORING PLAN. REC FULL WORK UP AND BILATERAL ENUCLEATION WITH PLACEMENT. GOOD PROGNOSIS WITH APPROPRIATE TREATMENT
Mello was surrendered as a stray so his past behavior around other dogs is unknown.
6/23-6/24: When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Mello greets small dogs appropriately and wanders in the pen in a group of males and females. When seeing a large dog through the fence, Mello begins to growl.
