Medical Summary Estimated age: – 8 yo, mod- marked tooth wear, mild nuclear sclerosis Microchip noted on Intake? none. Found walking streets – stray. BAR- H Fine coming out of cage, wants affection, wagging tail T = P = 100 R = eup BCS= 3/9 EENT: Eyes – mild nuclear sclerosis, else NSF. Ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: mod- marked tooth wear incisors PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, MM pk, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: No spay scar, no MGT’s, Vulva distended but no discharge. MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat generally but mild small scars around face, long nails but not impeding gait/ footpads CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: n Assessment Mildly underweight Plan Re-check weight 5 days Prognosis: Good SURGERY: Okay for surgery – in house. Run pre-op BW first.
