HOAGIE – 14953
Safe - 12-5-2017 Manhattan Rescue: Rebound Hounds Please honor your pledges: http://www.reboundhounds.org/donate.html
Hello, my name is Hoagie. My animal id is #14953. I am a male white dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 29-Nov-2017.
Hoagie is at risk for medical reasons, having been diagnosed with Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, which is contagious to other dogs. Behaviorally, we have no concerns about Hoagie, who has been assessed as being suitable for most homes.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: You don’t need to wait for your next party, soiree, or football bash to enjoy this delicious hoagie. This 2 year-old snorty and sweet land seal is a party all unto himself, with his ever-present goofy grin, forever-wiggling tiny tush, and yes, those adorable grunts. Hoagie is easily leashed and excitedly bursts from his kennel, ready to take on the day (and the world!) with a fun-filled stroll through the park. He handles his business straight away and then gets right to the investigating. And by investigating – I mean every little thing. No leaf left unturned, no spot of air left un-sniffed, and of course every fire hydrant demands our little sandwich’s full attention. And when all is said and done he happily wiggles and waddles right back to the yard, now ready for some quiet cuddles. Hoagie was brought to the shelter after being discovered in his finder’s yard and briefly lived with young children with whom he was relaxed and playful. Our delectable boy is still young at two years-old and fairly active, so would do best with a fair share of exercise and lots of time to play. Hoagie may be dressed in his holiday’s finest but there’s no need to wait for Santa to bring this magical gift into your life. Hoagie is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC.
My medical notes are…
