DVM Intake Exam; Estimated age: ~1-2yrs; Microchip noted on Intake? no; History : Brought in by field; Subjective: BARH; Observed Behavior – Tense, whale eyes, head turns, snaps; Objective ; P = WNL R = WNL BCS 5/9; EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted; Oral Exam: Teeth clean, pink mm; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic; ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: Female; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, full, slightly unkempt hair coat; CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Assessment: Apparently healthy; Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC; Prognosis: Excellent; SURGERY: Okay for surgery
Ginger was surrender as a stray so her past behavior with other dogs is unknown.
12/05/17: When off leash at the Care Center, Ginger is extremely fearful and bares her teeth when the other dogs and handlers approach her. She seeks for an exit most of the session.
