EGYPT – 12936
Safe - 12-4-2017 Brooklyn Rescue: Rescue Dogs Rock NYC Please honor your pledges: http://rescuedogsrocknyc.org/donate/
Hello, my name is Egypt. My animal id is #12936. I am a female tan dog at the Brooklyn Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 8 years 2 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 17-Nov-2017, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- moving – no pets allowed.
gypt is at risk due to being diagnosed with Canine Infection Respiratory Disease Complex and will likely require home rest and a series of antibiotics for up to 14 days. This is a contagious illness to other dogs. Egypt is suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: I nominate Egypt to be the poster child for “good girls” everywhere! She is perfectly middle-aged and sweeter than any pie you’ll encounter this holiday season. Her previous owner tells us she’s spent time with children of all ages (she was respectful and gentle around them), has spent time with a male dog (they loved to play), and has even lived harmoniously with a cat. She’s said to be well behaved when left alone, housetrained (she seems it!) and crate trained, and even unfazed if you bother her while she’s snoozin’! She doesn’t pull much on leash, is super treat motivated (she already knows “sit”, “paw” and “down”), and likes to play with toys. When I let her off leash in the yard she liked to explore, but is happy to trade her sniffing in for snuggling; she leans in when I pet her, props her paws on my shoulders and gives kisses, and then celebrates with a bout of the zoomies fueled by love! Make this good girl YOUR girl…she would love to meet you at Brooklyn ACC.
