CHURRO – 20325
Gone - 2-21-2018 Manhattan
Hello, my name is Churro. My animal id is #20325. I am a male black dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years 1 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 10-Feb-2018.
Churro is at risk for medical reasons, having been diagnosed with Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, which is contagious to other dogs. Behaviorally, we suggest that Churro would be best suited to an adult only home.
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes:Sweet, petite, delicate yet delicious…that’s our Churro! From the top of his perky ears to the tip of his ever wagging tail, this ebony cutie is 100 percent adorable and SO much fun! It seem that Churro’s never met a person he didn’t love, a toy he wouldn’t chew or a lap he couldn’t snuggle into, and if you’re a fan of mischievous little snugglebugs (as I am) then every moment spent with him is an absolute delight. Even on a rainy day he bounces joyfully down the street, checking in every so often to make sure I’m noticing what a good boy he’s being and greeting other dogs with eager pulling and tail wags. Off leash he’s a bit too enthusiastic in his approach so would benefit from a tolerant doggie ‘mentor’ or some training from his new parents to show him the ropes of proper playgroup etiquette but his big heart is definitely in the right place. In short (because Churro is short!) he’s super handsome, extremely happy and very affectionate, the perfect pet for a home as fun-loving, active and boisterous as he is. Sweet Churro’s ready to shine like the star he was born to be, will yours be the lucky family who basks in the warmth of his love?
My medical notes are…
Weight: 38.5 lbs
