MALIGNANT VS. CYST VS. OTHER; MASS ON DORSUM- R/O CYST VS. OTHER; MASS ON TAILBASE- R/O CYST VS. LIPOMA VS. OTHER; SEVERE DENTAL DISEASE; GERIATRIC; OVERWEIGHT; P:; CLIPPED HAIR AROUND ANUS TO AVOID BLOODY DICHARGE GETTING STUCK IN IT; WHEN EVALUATING MASS NEAR ANUS IT RUPTURED, LARGE AMOUNT OF TISSUE-LIKE MATERIAL AND BLOOD AN BLOOD CLOTS EXPRESSED (NOT PUS OR ANAL GLAND MATERIAL) EMPTY LEAVING AN EMPTY POUCH WITH SOME BLEEDING; FLUSHED INSIDE OF MASS APPLIED PRESSURE AND BLEEDING SUBSIDED; CLIPPED TOENAILS; CLAVAMOX X 14 DAYS; RIMADYL X 3 DAYS; HISTOPATH REQUIRED FOR DEFINITIVE DIAGNOSIS OF ALL MASSES; RECHECK ALL MASSES TOMORROW; Is stable; Anal area was bleeding–going to the bathroom or just sitting down can be a problem; Did shave some of the hair from the area; Appears to be a mass that is starting to bleed vs abcess vs other; Cleaned with Novolson sol.; At first it appeared to be a prolapse but it’s not; Is in medical for further observation and already on a vet check; NOSF
Client stated he found Almond in Central park around 5:45pm. Almond was walking but limping and when he picked him up he realized he was bleeding but wasn’t sure where the blood was coming from.
