Urgent - Info

This dog is one of many animals in the NYC Animal Care Center and he/she became at risk the moment they entered the doors. Fosters/adopters save lives and this dog will soon be out of time! Do not wait for this animal to appear on the At Risk List! Start sharing and advocating now. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, message the Urgent help desk at [email protected] and they will help answer any questions you may have. The NYC ACC has decided to take a break and not put out an At Risk List on Saturday nights. There will be NO euthanasia tomorrow, except for humane reasons. Please use this as an opportunity to advocate for the animals currently in the shelter. They may be safe for 24 hours; but, then the clock starts ticking again!
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected] Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions. they mean for sundays no more killings on sundays
It is worded very strangely on the Urgent site. Says “there will be no euthanasia tomorrow, except”…(and link is provided to the Urgent dogs. Is there NO euthanasia tomorrow? Why is it worded so?
